Happy New Years!! How was your holidays? I was at my parent’s house in Japan, so enjoyed Tokyo while eating “osechi” (Japanese New Year’s traditional food) and watching TV for my New Year’s day.
My first post for the new year is going to be my 2019 resolution. Every year, I always start putting together my new year’s resolution for the next year from the previous December. So, I’m going to share with you today my 2019 resolutions.
Osechi
1.Live Healthy
This might seem like a very broad and big one but this is my biggest and most important. Before I started living on my own, my mother would make my meals, so I had a very nutritious meal three times a day. Also, I was waking up and sleeping at a decent time. I only was exercising when I was doing club activities back then so it is the same because I work right now. However, because now I’m living alone I’m not making food for myself because it is a hustle and have not been eating three times a day or a nutritious meal too. Also, my sleeping time has become so late that sometimes my lifestyle is completely turned upside down. Because I know that I’m a night-owl, I am first going to try to wake up at around 7-8AM. (I’m writing this at 11PM…) In addition, I have known for a long time that I’m lacking exercise so I would like to start doing easy trainings at home and gradually shift into going to the gym and training. My main goal is to live healthy and lose weight healthy and beautifully.

2. Try Hard for My Ideal Future Image
The latter part of last year was a time for me that I had no passion for anything. I went to school and listened to lectures but that was it. However, in that period I was deciding and worrying so hard about my future and what kind of person I want to be. I ended up having a blurry image of what my ideal future would be at the end. This might change but it is clearer than it used to be and I would like to do anything that I can do to become closer to it. Also, I want to worry more and have a clearer image of my future at the end of this year. I will not say here what that future image is right now but when I feel ready, I will open up to you guys so hold on tight!! I know that I can hustle to do anything that I like and am passionate about so that’s what I want to do this year.
3. Gain More Knowledge
This might seem natural for someone that is an university student but I would like to gain more knowledge from somewhere that is not in my course content. For example, I would love to gain more English vocabularies. This will come in handy when I’m writing my essays for my courses but this is something that I want to have for my future, even if my future job doesn’t use English. Another example is learning Korean. Right now, I can only speak English and Japanese, and I would like to be able to speak one or two more languages before graduating university. I was debating for a long time of what language to do for my third language but I chose Korean over the last few days so I’m going to stick with it. In the future I would love to be able to speak 10 languages or more. I have more areas that I would love to gain knowledge in but I would keep it here for now. If anyone is interested leave me a comment here or DM me on instagram.
These are my 2019 resolutions. I also have a 2019 bucket list and small things I would love to accomplish in 2019. For my blog, I would love to post every Sunday or Monday. I hope you will stick around for 2019 since no one knows what we have in store for this year. Also, I finally started posting on instagram so please go have a look.
