Current Favourite Cosmetics

These days we have started going back to normal a little bit and I have had more times I need to do my makeup. Also, I started working part-time and need to wear makeup at least two times per week. I have not been buying cosmetics as much as I did before, but I still love makeup and cosmetics in general. Today I would like to show you my recent favourite cosmetics.

1.Chanel: Perfection Lumiére Velvet

I have had this for a while now, and have already decided that I want to repeat this but it still hasn’t run out. This foundation also stays on my face for the whole day even with a mask on. Of course, it depends on the primer you use it with but if you put something like the “NARS shine control primer”, it will stay put on the nose area which tends to get messy.

2.Dior: Ecrin Couture Iconic Eye Makeup Palette

This is something I recently bought, but it has become one of my favourites quickly because of the packaging and the brown colours that you can’t go wrong with. All of the colours are so beautiful in there, including the gold shimmer shade.

3.Dasique: Shadow Palette “02 Rose Petal”

First of all, I love shimmer eyeshadows from Korean cosmetic brands. Especially, I adore the shimmer colours in this palette. The shimmers never come off and the colour payoff is great compared to other ones. Also, the undertone colours actually come through, so I sometimes use the shimmer shades from this palette even if I’m using another eyeshadow palette.

4.Canmake: Cream Cheek “P01”

This came out this year and was very much of a trend in social media, so I thought I would give it a go. And I have not regretted that decision by any means. Some people say it is sparkly but I would say it is more pearly and makes a good natural highlight with colour. I would like to get another colour in the near future.

5.Dior: Backstage Face Glow Palette “004 Rose Gold”

I have bought the most recent highlight from Dior as well, but I somehow come back to this palette. Of course, it is reasonable considering you have four colours in this and all of the colours are usable. I feel like every colour has its place to shine and the majority of them make you look like you have clear skin. I have three different colours from this series but I like 004 the most because of its choice of colours.

6.Dior: Rouge Dior Forever Liquid “458 Forever Paris”

My best lipstick when it comes to being mask-proof. Even when the time comes when we don’t need to wear masks anymore, I will still keep on using it because it doesn’t crumble and dry out my lips. It also has a high colour payoff, so I bought another colour. I have no idea, what I would do without this from now on.

7.HERA: Spicy Nude Gloss “422 Lingerie”

My most used and beloved nude lipstick as the beautiful pink beige colour keeps me looking healthy. I don’t think it is mask-proof, because it is a gloss but when I don’t need a mask this is what I reach for. I have bought this a while ago, but I love the colour and the moisture it gives and use it quite often.

This is the end of my recent favourite cosmetics. I have not been buying a lot of makeup recently so there are a lot of things in here that I have bought a while ago. I don’t think there are any limited products, so I think that these are still available. If you have any that you like to purchase, I recommend everything in here to you. Also, if you have any cosmetics that you would like me to use or your recent favourites, please share it with me in the comment section. I also have been recently rediscovering perfumes and stationery that I had. I hope I can make another post before the end of 2021, going over 2021.

Luxury Cosmetics for Me

This week I would like to go into makeup and especially into luxury cosmetics. To some people it might seem like a waste of money but luxury cosmetics is special and a must for me. If you take a look at my makeup collection you will realize that a lot of them are luxury cosmetics. There are a few reasons that I love them so much, like I love the brands but there are more reasons. I would like to explain to you why luxury cosmetics is special and necessary for me and why I will continue buying them.

Quality

For me luxury cosmetics has a good and high quality. I don’t really know if that is actually true but you can do the googling yourself. I have a non-sensitive skin so I don’t really need to care about the ingredients that much but I care if it is good to put on your skin. I especially am cautious about my lips because it is inevitable to get it into your mouth. So, if you see my lip drawer you will see there is a high percentage of luxury brands in there.

Pigmentation and Long-Lasting

I just think that luxury cosmetics have a better colour payoff and they last on my face for a longer time. I feel like you can see the difference especially in eyeshadows I love my Dior eyeshadow palettes the most because of the pigmentation, the shine of the glitters, and the end result after you’ve put it on for a whole day are very different from a non-luxury one. You can tell the difference the most in the pigmentation of the dark coloured eyeshadow and how long your foundation will last. I only buy highend cosmetic for my foundation but I just love luxury cosmetics more.

Mood

I’m sorry that this last one is not specific but my mood for the day is different from when I use luxury makeup or not. When I want to show myself as a reliable person for an interview or when I’m buying expensive things or big things, I use luxury cosmetics. Not only the amount of money I spent on it, but also the mood that I’m using a luxury item makes me feel good. I think this depends on the individual the most and also what makeup brand they love and use. For me Tom Ford, Chanel, and especially Dior gets me happy and in a good mood. I also feel more confident and feel like I want to be like a classy and elegant lady.

So, this is the end of how special luxury cosmetics is for me. It has evolved into something I can’t live without. Luxury cosmetics is a topic that really depends on the person, but I would love it if any of you reading this understands my thoughts. Also, please regard this when you see my purchases of luxury makeup. Who is on the same boat as me? Do you buy any luxury makeup and if you do which brand is it from?

Night Out Makeup

This week I would like to introduce you to my night out makeup. When I go out just at night or when I can come home before I need to go out again I will always do this kind of makeup. For me I try to look pretty when I’m going out at night. For that I put glitter on my eye makeup and put some highlight. I have some other things that I keep in mind when I do my makeup so I would like to introduce you those and some products that I use.

Primavista: Long Keep Base UV

Shine where you don’t want it to is a big NO at night. Especially when it is night the shine seems to be more present than it actually is. Even if you chisel out your jaw line or your nose, shine will ruin everything. Since I started using this product, I don’t need to retouch my makeup as much.

Dior: Forever Skin Glow Foundation

This foundation is my best foundation for me as of now. It has everything I want a foundation to have. At night glowy looks are good but if it is too glowy it looks like your skin is oily or shining. For me this foundation is the middle of semi-matte and glowy finish.

Maybelline: Fit Me Foundation

Whatever foundation or primer I use for around my nose, I always get shiny. So recently I have changed my foundation around my nose area to a matte finish. Even if the oil peeks through from under the foundation, it looks as if it is a beautiful glow from with in.

Addiction: The Eyeshadow “092 Marriage”

Clio: Pro Single Shadow “G10”

Canmake: Jewerly Shadow Veil “02”

Colourpop: Super Shock Shadow “Frog”

Just make everywhere shiny. Making your eye look shiny makes your pupil look shiny as well so this is typically important when you are going ion a date. Making your pupil look shiny makes you seem that if you’re interested in what they are talking about or if you were looking forward to seeing them. My favourite shadows are ones that aren’t glittery and flashy. Precisely, something that the lames are not too big and looks elegant or something that has a wet look.

Lancome: Hypnose Star Water Proof Mascara

NARS: Climax Mascara

Heavy Rotation: Micro Mascara Advanced Film

I choose mascaras according to their carl keep. Of course I use lash primers to keep my lashes curled but I still try to look for a mascara that can keep my curls beautifully the longest and something that doesn’t give me panda eyes. FYI, I use Quick Lash Curler from Canmake or Maximizer 3D from Dior for my lash primer. Also, I always use a mascara come so that there will be no lumps.

Dior: Glow Palette “002 Glitz”

Chanel: Baume Essentiel “Sculpting”

For a night out makeup highlight is an essential. At night, lighting can make you look blank but a highlight makes you look three-dimensional. The Chanel makes your cheek look wet and Dior makes your cheek look shiny. I choose among these two according to where I’m going, my makeup, and my clothing.

This is what I keep in my mind and some of the products of what I use for my night out makeup. Of course I use eyeshadow and powder other than this but those don’t really change from my daily makeup. Of course you can do something totally different for your night out but for me I try to do a look that I’m used to and I’m confident in. Let’s all try hard to be cute and beautiful at any time.

Makeup Products I’ve Been Loving Recently

This week I am going to share with you any makeup products that I have been loving recently. These products might be things that have released in the past few months or that have been on the market for a long time. But, all of these products are things that I have loved for the past few months or even longer. Some of these things might be seasonal products and out of stock by now but I am going to share it with you anyway.

⚠︎This does not mean that I do a whole look out of these products.

Dior: Forever Skin Glow 24W Wear Radiant Perfection Skin-caring Foundation 1CR

This has been my go to foundation ever since it came out earlier this year. I have loved the older version of this one for years and was excited to hear that a new version was coming out. It is so good and I have loved it ever since. It gives out the most beautiful glow to the face without it ever becoming oily and it keeps the makeup put for the whole day.

Maybelline: Matte + Poreless Foundation 115 Ivory

This has been my go to foundation for my nose area for the summer. I get quite oily in my nose area and my foundation will disappear or look pretty shiny after a while. However, because of the matte finish of this foundation, it keeps the nose area looking not as shiny for the whole day. (Although I do need to touch up with powder through out the day, it is not bad as it was before.)

Charlotte Tilbury: Airbrush Flawless Finish Skin Perfecting Micro-powder 1 Fair

This has been my go to finish powder when I’m traveling. I love the finish of it, which makes my skin looking doll-like. However, it does not kill the natural shine of the skin which I love. Also, I love the mirror inside because it is the right size and it’s not crooked or anything. Even though, I use a loose powder at home I love this powder for travel and I will sometimes use this only as a mirror for precise eye makeup.

Dior: Rouge Blush Couture Colour 365 New World

This is a new blush from Dior and I love it so much. It has a good amount of pink glitter and it gives a beautiful glow to your cheek. However, it isn’t too much of a glow enabling it to not fight with the highlight. I love using a pink highlighter with this blush.

Dior: Backstage Glow Face Palette 002 Glitz

I have loved the “001” palette which came out before this one and when I first knew that this one was coming out, I knew I would love it. I actually like this one more than the last one because this one is more natural and subtle. I like the upper right colour the most.

Dior: 3 Couleurs Tri(o)bloque Eyeshadow Palette 853 Rosy Canvas

I love this eyeshadow palette because of the colour and formula. I normally go for a pink eyeshadow with a brown base. I love the middle colour of the eyeshadow palette because of the shine that it gives my eye.

Colurpop: Supershock Shadow Frog

I love the glitterness and the shine that this eyeshadow gives my eyes. I will always have this with me whenever I travel. It’s just so good to put over any eye look and it will look good. Also, I love it because you don’t need to really care about where you put the eyeshadow and it will look good anyways.

MAC: Extended Play Gigablack Lash

This has been my mascara of the choice recently. I love the small bristles of this mascara and that it keeps the lashes curled all day. However, I wish it wasn’t as black as it is and has more of a browny tone or something like that since I love browny mascaras.

Dior: Addict Lip Tattoo 421 Natural Beige

This Addict Lip Tattoo is my lip product of choice for any season but most of all the summer. I just love how natural all the colours are and how long-lasting they are. In all of the colours I have, I love this colour because it is so natural and suits any makeup look.

Dior: Rouge 672 Adorée

This is my lip product of choice for the spring season but I love it even in the summer. When I have it on a lot of people compliment it and mention that I look very healthy or happy. As I love pink lip products this is one of my favourite pink colour in general as well.

Chanel: Rouge Coco Lip Blush 416 Teasing Pink

This Rouge Coco Lip Blush is also a lip product that I have a few colours of. I just love the look of this on my lips and how long-lasting it is. This colour is a reddish coral colour on my lips which suits my skin tone very well. The colour looks different from when you look at the package from when you actually put it on your lips.

This is the end of my makeup products that I have been loving recently. As I love makeup, I tend to buy a lot of makeup and rediscover any makeup that I have. I also try to not use the same makeup products everyday and try to change how I appear by changing my look. This is why I have a long list of makeup products I love recently. Thank you so much for reading until the end. What is some makeup products that you have been loving recently? See you next time!!

Favourite Lip Products

This week I’m going to introduce my favourite lip products.  I love makeup and buying new products, however I specifically like lip products. This is because I feel like that the lip can change your makeup drastically, by colour and even the texture. This is why I have so many lipsticks and I have so many that I love for different occasions. So, I’m going to share with you today my top 10 favourite lip products at the moment.

Etude House: Shine Chic Lip Lacquer “OR201 Juicy Fresh”

This is a liquid lipstick that is very long-lasting. It is a vivid colour so it is not for everyday because your lips will stand out if you have a natural face of makeup. However, I love to wear this when I’m going out for dinner or on the beach. When I’m going out for dinner, I normally put on a vivid colour because it is usually dark inside the restaurant and the colour will make you look more alive and your expressions more clear.

Lancome: Matte Shaker “275 Nudes & Roses”

This is also a liquid lipstick that is somewhat long-lasting. I love this for everyday use because it is a pink-nude colour which I prefer for everyday wear. I love this range of lipstick so I have different shades but I love this colour the best. Also when I wear this a lot of people say it suits my skin tone and it looks good on me. These people say it makes me look a lot more youthful and alive and it makes my skin look a little bit more pale (which is preferred in Japan).

Canmake: Lip Tint Syrup “03”

This is also a liquid lipstick which is long-lasting. This is very good for those no makeup days or when you just want some colour on your lips. I sometimes use this as a base for any lipstick that goes on top because it makes a good base adding a little bit of colour. Also, it is very hydrating so it doesn’t dry out my lips even thought it is quite long-lasting.

YSL: Volupté Tint-In Balm “06”

This is a lipstick but it is somewhat long-lasting. It is not long-lasting as liquid lipsticks but is does give the lips a stain of colour. The colour is a red but it is not that strong so you can pair it up with any look you have. Also, it is very hydrating and gives you a beautiful shine to your lips.

L’oréal Paris x Isabel Marant: Lipstick “La Seine”

This is also a lipstick that I discovered pretty recently and have loved it since. It is a semi-matte formula and gives the lips a very nice swash of nude. I love this lipstick because of how comfortable it is on the lips and how hydrating it is. It does not hold on to the lips for a long amount of time but I don’t mind reapplying it every few hours.

Tom Ford: Lip Color “04 Indian Rose”

This is also a lipstick that I have loved ever since I discovered it about a few years ago. I also love this range of Tom Ford’s lipstick and own a couple of different shades. This shade in particular is my favourite one because it has the good amount of colour and nude at the same time. This can be worn for both a night out or everyday depending on how you pair it up with the face and eye makeup. It is very expensive but I think it is worth your money if you find a shade that you totally love and enjoy wearing.

Lancome: Lábsolu Rouge “368”

This is also a lipstick that I discovered accidentally. This was a sample that my aunt was given when she bought something and gave it to me since it was not a shade for her. It is a vivid pink and only good for night outs or when I’m dressing up. Since, I don’t feel too comfortable in red, (which I would love to be) I go for vivid pink for those days. This one is my favourite at the moment and has quickly replaced my older one. Of course, I have already bought the full size and have been enjoying it.

Dior: Lip Glow “102 Matte Raspberry”

This is also a lipstick but more of a lip balm. I have every shade of this range since I love it and it suits what kind of makeup I wear for everyday. This is very good for those days when I just put on a cushion foundation, mascara, and brown eyeshadow and run out of the door for university. In particular, I love this shade because it is semi-matte and very hydrating while it is long-lasting than any other lip balms I have tried. I also use this as a base when my lips feel extra dry or when the lipstick formula is uncomfortable.

Dior: Addict Lacquer Plump “456 Dior Pretty”

This is a liquid lipstick that is somewhat long-lasting. I love this shade for the spring to summer seasons in particular because of the shade. It is a milky pink that is loved by anyone and screams the word “girl”. I feel like I have found my all-time favourite pink lip product as of now because I have nothing to say about it. I also own a few other shades in this collection and have been enjoying everyone of them.

Dior: Lip Maximizer “007 Berry”

This is a lip gloss that released this January but is in my favourites all ready. I love a lip gloss because it gives your lips a shine and keeps them hydrated. This is something that your hair can cling to so you want to be careful but I love the colour. The colour payoff is great for a lip gloss for me because it won’t interrupt the lipstick below but shows the colour of the lip gloss as well.

This is a roundup of my top 10 favourite lip products currently. As I love to buy new makeup, this might change in a few months time so I would do an updated one when I feel like I need to. However, for now these 10 are the ones that I have been enjoying and putting on my lips a lot more than the other ones.

Everyday Makeup 2018 September ver.

I am really sorry that I didn’t post for last week. I had a lot going on in the past week and wasn’t able to write a post on Sunday. However, I am back with my everyday makeup 2018 September version. I hope you love what I wrote and become interested in some things I use.

First of all, I think you need to know my everyday makeup look to know if you can relate to it. I do put on a light amount of makeup everyday and I’m going to show you this makeup look. I put on makeup not to impress people but to look awake, presentable, and to give myself confidence. Some of these makeup items can seem a little bit not natural but those are the one I use when I feel kind of low or on the days that I have a presentation. So, I will go onto the makeup items that I use.

Face Products

1. Clio: Kill Cover Ampoule Cushion Foundation”01″

Cushion foundation are a  nice foundation to use on your natural makeup days and I love this one in particular because it has a high coverage but does not make it look cakey or unnatural.

2. The Same: Cover Perfection Tip Concealer “01”

I don’t use concealer on a daily basis because I don’t have bad under eye circles however if I want to look more presentable for that day, or if the circles are pretty bad I would put on this concealer. As for the foundation, this concealer never creases and is never cakey and will look very natural and skin-like.

3. Canmake: Eyebrow Mix Powder “04”

Wherever I go or how much makeup I’m wearing for that day I would do my brows. I think brows are the key to make someone cuter or more polished. This gives the most natural looking brows but give them a good wash of color.

4. Kiss Me: Heavy Rotation Coloring Eyebrow “04 Natural Brown”

I use this light-handed and it matches my hair color and keeps my brows in place for the whole day.

5. Essence:  Satin Touch Blush “10 Satin Coral”

This is the most natural and cute blush of all time. It is a coral shade which looks the most natural to the cheek for me and it enhances the natural flush that I naturally have.

6. Essence: Pure Nude Highlighter “10 be my highlight”

This is the most natural and affordable highlighter of all time. I was introduced to this by “Kathleen Lights” from youtube but I will never regret on my purchase because it brings the most natural glow from with-in type of glow. However, if you want a blinging highlight it might not be the one for you.

7. Dior:  Backstage Face Glow Palette “01 Universal”

This is the one I reach for the most, it has 2 blush shades and 2 highlight shades. This is from the backstage range from Dior and it is quite affordable for a luxury brand. I really enjoy using this as the pinky blush shade is really cute and both the highlighter shades look gorgeous on my skin tone. You can build up the product and still make it look natural but I normally use a light hand if I’m using it for my daily makeup look.

Eye Products

8. Revlon: Colorstay Creme Eye Shadow “730”

This is a creme eye shadow I use everyday for my eye shadow base. It gives the most natural glow from within and makes the eye look on to a new level.

9. Addiction: The Eyeshadow “031 Tiny Shell”

I think you need to have a brown eyeshadow in your makeup collection that you can wear on it’s own and this one is the one for me.  I matches my eye colour the best and is truly the best brown eyeshadow for me.

10. Addiction: The Eyeshadow “078 Sakura Storm”

This is an eyeshadow which I only use for under my eye to enhance the eye bags and it shines just the right amount to bring out a really pretty shine.

11. Canmake: Perfect Stylist Eyes “10”

This is an eyeshadow palette which can do really natural makeup really easily. The brown in the right upper corner is very beautiful on its own too.

12. Rimmel: Chocola Sweet Eyes “015”

This is also an eyeshadow palette which can do natural makeup. I will use this one for a day where I’m looking for a little bit more than the one I mentioned before.

Lip Products

 13. Dior: Lip Glow Color Revive Balm “001 Pink”

This is  a tinted lip balm, so I put this in my bag wherever I go. I use this mostly to most my lips but also to put some colour on my lips when I don’t have that much makeup on.

14. Sephora: Lipstories “Oui!”

This is a creamy lipstick with a dust mauve pink colour. This can be used at any season and that’s what I love about it so much.

15. Etude House: Dear My Blooming Lip Talk Shine “SPK003”

This is a lipstick which will make your lips seem as if you have glows on top of your lipstick. I love this so much because of the colour and consistency.

16. Lancome: Matte Shaker “257 Nudes and Roses”

This is one of my favourite lip colour of all time. It is a matte liquid lip which dries down but it never becomes dry or cakey throughout the day. Also, it is one of the most long-lasting lip sticks in my collection too.

17. Dior: Rouge Dior Ultra Rouge “843 Ultra Crave”

This is my fall lipstick of choice for this year. This is a lipstick from the new collection from Dior cosmetics. I love this colour and consistency. Dior is my favourite makeup brand since I discovered makeup.

18. MAC: Lipstick “See Sheer”

This is a lipstick which was recommended to me by the BA when I was picking up something else from MAC. The BA said that it was the No.1 selling lipstick in Japan and it was the best natural red to suit the Japanese skin tone and it actually does.

19. YSL: Volupte Tint-In-Balm “6”

This is a very natural and sheer red lipstick with a glossy texture. Even though it is a lipstick and it is very comfortable on the lip it is long-lasting. I love  the colour that it gives my lips giving it a lively and pretty red shine.

20. Shine Rich: All-in-one Tint “03”

This is a natural red lip gloss with a plumping effect. Sometimes I don’t feel like putting a lipstick on and I feel like putting a lipgloss on. On those days are when this lip gloss comes into my makeup routine.

This is all the makeup I like to use on my everyday natural makeup routine. What do you use on a daily basis and what look you tend to go for on a daily routine? I am very pleased with my makeup routine that I have currently but it is changing very much since I am constantly discovering and buying new makeup. I will probably update you on it when we get into spring. Also if you want to see what makeup I buy, I will be updating them on my instagram as a post or on insta stories. (@lisa__heidi) I’ll see you next week for sure with another post!!
