Wishlist of 2022

Over one month has passed since we entered 2022. Using the New Year’s break I always think about my wishlist for that year. In this blog, I want to share with you my wishlist for 2022. The first two are things I would really like to have and the things after that are something I would want to have. By the way, I bought a Van Cleef & Arpels Vintage Alhambra Necklace in Carnelian and a Cartier Juste Un Clou Ring last year.

Hermes Evelyn/Fendi Peekaboo

This year I definitely want a bag, so I would like to buy either one of these for my birthday. While saying this, my parents bought me a Celine Basket Bag as a New Year’s gift. However, I think a basket bag and a going out bag, which I want, is very different so I still want a bag for my birthday. I know these two are totally different but both of them are bags I want some time in the future. I have no idea how I’m going to decide on my birthday but you will probably see it on my Instagram around August.

From the Chanel Website

Chanel Coco Crush Collection Ring

For Christmas I always want jewelry. Why do I want jewelry for Christmas? Is it because of all of the magazine articles? I have no idea of the reason, but since realizing this, I have always bought some kind of jewelry for my Christmas present. So, for this year I am aiming for a Chanel Coco Crush Ring. However, I also want the Alhambra ring as well. Thinking about the price, I think I will go for the Coco Crush. The picture is with diamonds but I will probably not be able to decide which one until the day I buy it. Usually, I will go for the one with diamonds, but for this ring both are very beautiful and elegant.

From the Dior Website

Dior Tribal Pierce

This is something I have wanted for years now. However, regarding the fact that I am a student and am only able to save my pocket money and part-time salary, there is a limit. Though, I want to buy it this year for some kind of reason. Also this was not on the list of things that got a price raise earlier this year, so I’m going to think about it for a little bit longer. I have decided on this design a few years ago as well, so I think I only have to decide considering my budget and timing.

Taken from Twitter

White Blouse

This one is also something I have wanted for years. I have not decided on the brand but I want a white blouse. I don’t want something simple, but I rather have something that has frills or embroideries and has designs. However, I want something that is somewhat simple so I can wear it for years to come. I would like to get it from a luxury brand, but thinking about my budget I think that is impossible. So, that is going to be something I will look forward to in the future. I love the simple fashion of a jacket with a white blouse, especially for the spring and autumn season, so I’m hoping that I can do that this year.

Other than that, I would like to buy a camel knit and short boots. Also for beauty, I would like to get an AOMW Christal White Mask, Guerlain lipstick, and a new perfume. However, I’m going to end the blog here for now. I am going to show you whatever I bought probably on my Instagram stories, so please go and have a peek. Do you make a wishlist? If you do, please let me know what is on your wishlist. I hope I can buy many things on my wishlist this year.

Bag Wishlist

I make lists for majority of things but specifically I love making wishlists. I love looking at beautiful things and products which are on my wishlist and this is also the best way for me to motivate myself. I can remind myself that I’m working so hard for these things or that I need to work harder to buy these things on my wishlist, so both seeing and making the list motivates me and makes me happy. There are so many more wishlists like jewelry, shoes, clothing, and makeup and I am planning to share them with you soon. There are so many bags that didn’t make it to this list which I want. It didn’t make the list because I don’t want them as much right now or it doesn’t suit me currently. So, this wishlist is bound to change all the time according to my feelings and style at that specific time.

Christian Dior: My Lady Dior Bag

This is the only bag that I have a plan of when I’m going to buy it. I plan to buy it as an university graduation present to myself from myself. I have no idea if I can graduate as planned regarding the current situation but if it goes as planned, it’s going to be in October, 2022. I’m going to an Australian university so I’m graduating in October. This is the bag that I want the most and love the most. Dior is my favorite brand and I have wanted their most iconic bag for the longest time. However, I decided I want to get this bag myself since I went to Europe for my high school graduation. This is because I wanted to make it a special moment for myself and I wanted to buy it with my own money. For now I want it in the My Lady size and in the champagne pink but the size might change into mini, the smallest size.

Valentino: Rockstud Spike Medium Bag

Next is Valentino’s iconic rockstud bag and it is very famous for the multiple sizes too. I want it in pink for this one as well but I would like a vivid pink or a beige pink. Someone that I admire had the vivid pink version and after seeing it on her, it soon made its way to the wishlist. I love how you can use it casually but it still looks elegant. I want it in the medium size since it can still hold a lot of things while looking graceful.

Hermes: Picotin Lock Bag

This is not a bag I want right now but I would like to have it in my 20’s, so I put it in this list. I think Hermes bags are a dream for every women and it is the same for me. Of course Birkin and Kelly, the icon of Hermes are some bags I want but I feel like it is a little bit early for me to own them and they are also super expensive. So I want the Picotin Lock bag for me currently. I couldn’t decide between a Bolide but I felt like the Picotin will suit my style better. I haven’t decided the color or sizing for this one but I would like to have a blueish color or anything vivid.

Miu Miu: Iconic Crystal Leather Bag

This bag is a bag I have been told by numerous people that it suits me very well and I feel the same as it matches my current style and feeling. I’m still not able to decide what color but I’m feeling like the orthodox pink or light blue. I have a phone case from Miu Miu so I would love to expand my collection in my 20’s. Expanding it with a bag seems like a good idea for me and this bag will probably be great for it.

Fendi: Mini Peekaboo Iconic

This bag might be a little bit too mature for me but I feel like you can use it for a lifetime, so I would like to invest in it from early on. It is a very plain bag but can be the main point of a coordinate and as a bag lover, I would like to have one of these in my collection. I will love to have it in the dove gray color and in the mini size. However, I’m open to black or white if the leather is lamb skin. I love the smoothness and softness of the lamb skin and would love to have the Peekaboo in this leather specifically.

This is the end of my bag wishlist. There are so many more bags I would love to own but this is only what I want in the next few years. Of course I know it isn’t possible for me to own them all in the next few years but I would love to own them one by one even if it is a slow pace. For me the moment either buying or getting luxury items as a present, is a very special moment which I remember forever. So, I would like to buy these items when I want to remember specific turning points in my life. By the way I am planning to buy a Dior oblique belt when COVID-19 ends and we are able to go to department stores normally. So I can remember how hard these days of quarantine were when I get older.

Favourite Knit Type

This week I am going to share my favourite knit type. There are a lot of types of knits and I love wearing them in the fall to winter season. I seem to keep on buying new ones of the three types I’m going to share with you. I feel that there are certain types of knit shapes that suit your body type and style of clothes.

Knits with Pearls

I bought a grey one about two seasons ago and I really wore it a lot, so since then I have loved this type. I bought the majority of mine from ZARA and I bought a beige one this year. Pearls look very classic and elegant so I love them as accessories as well. So pearls on knits also look very classy and expensive. This knit can be a centre piece in the coordination of that day when you can live with only wearing knits. But you can also wear it in the winter with a coat on top because it isn’t overpowering. In the winter I tend to go for pearls for accessories as well so this knit goes well with those too.

Knits with Buttons on the Shoulder

I bought two of these in different colours from ZARA last season and I have loved it since. It was quite a bargain regarding how it looks and how elegant it is. For this one I have a specific type that I love and it is a knit which is pretty body conscious. I normally wear this tucked into a skirt. Also, it makes you look skinnier than you actually are so I love that aspect too. Since buying the two I have last season from ZARA, I haven’t found anything in this type. So, I’m going to keep looking because I would love to have it in a cream colour or something in a light colour. Also, this is so good for the coming season, under a coat and it won’t make you look bundled up.

Turtleneck Knits

This is something that I have always loved and keep on rebuying every year without a failure for about the past 5 years or so. I tend to become particular of the fabric and colour about my basic items like my turtleneck knits. Colour choice depends on the person, but I tend to go for fluffy, gentle, and beautiful colour. Most of my turtleneck knits are from UNIQLO or an original brand by Takashimaya. I also am pretty particular on the silhouette and never go for anything quite chunky and buy knits I can wear on top of skirts. After all, I admire women that wear a turtleneck knit and jeans in the winter beautifully so I would love to be one of them.

This is the end of my favourite type of knits. Knits are a must have in my autumn to winter wardrobe so I have quite a lot. Of course I will buy things out of these types, but when it comes to rebuying I tend to reach for the same types. Did you buy any knits this year? If you did what kind of knit did you buy?

Favourite Bags

This week I would like to show you my bags. Bags are an important part of my OOTD so I have quite a lot of bags. The difference in colour, size, and texture are very important when it comes to bags and I try to have a variation of them. I would like to show you my favourite and most used bags out of my bag collection. I have so many bags that I would like to own so I will try harder to buy them for myself.

Chanel: Classic Double Flap Medium

I think this is my favourite bag in my collection. Also this is my most complimented bag when I wear it out. The design and the colour is unlike something that Chanel makes nowadays and it is elegant and bright at the same time. I was given this from a relative of mine and I was so surprised when I first got it. Every time I take this bag out people tell me “Your bag is very beautiful” or “I’ve never seen that type of bag before, but it looks so classy”. Even though it doesn’t fit that much it is the best size for me when I don’t have to bring an umbrella.

Prada: Saffiano Double Bag

This is the most neat looking bag I have and I would bring it to places I want to look put together and professional. It fits a lot of things so I will carry it around when I need to bring documents as well. This bag’s shape and colour always looks good with what I wear. I bought this when I went to Europe for the first time so it has a special place in my heart.

Asami: Bag

This is the best sized bag for me and it holds more than everyone thinks it does. It can hold an umbrella and a long wallet at the same time so it is the best size for me. It looks as if it is an Hermes bag and looks very elegant and classy. The stitching and all the details are very taken care of and the quality of this bag is very good compared to the price. This might be the most used bag in my collection.

Tote Bag

This is the bag that I use when I want to bring my computer around or for short trips. Also I use this for university so I usually buy cheap and cute ones on Qoo10. This is because it gets quite worn and dirty after I use it everyday and I need to buy a new one about once a year. I always buy something that I can use every season and looks elegant but not too much, to much my casual outfits for university.

Furla: Metropolis Crossbody Bag

I use this bag on night outs and for when I’m going out only for a meal. I also bring this to airports with a big tote or ruck sack because it is very convenient. It fits everything that I need for example, passport, pen, card case, lip balm, and hand cream. It also is great for every occasion so I usually bring this to trips as well. I have 2 other covers that I can use it with so it changes the atmosphere a lot.

Fur Bag

This was a novelty of a fashion brand which I don’t remember but it came when I bought a coat. When I use it in the winter I get a lot of compliments especially from foreign people. I have no idea why but foreign people seem to love fluffy things and furs because I received compliments to a boot that was fluffy as well. (Tell me why if you know.) This bag is something that I am going to use from now into the winter.

This is the end of my bag collection. As I have told you this is not my entire collection but you will probably see me with these bags that I have told you today. For me bags are something that I cherish and adore so I already have a few bags that I want to add to my collection. This is one of the big reasons I try so hard in my daily life. I always try to buy something expensive when I want to remember that day and I already have one in mind. I think that it will take some time to introduce you to what I bought here, so please follow me on instagram (@lisa_heidi) where I will show you what I bought.

(FYI, I’m going to buy myself a Lady Dior for my university graduation.)

My Favourite Brands

Today I will love to share my favourite fashion brands with everyone. The two luxury brands I have named here are brands I have never shopped close before. Of course I would love to shop at many of the luxury brands but I named only two because it is my favourites. I do not shop that regularly for clothes but I love shopping. These are brands that I will regularly check on and always take a look if I’m shopping. Just for your reference, I would describe my style as feminine and casual. I love casual and comfortable clothes for university but when I’m going out I love to look feminine and put together. I also like clothes that make my style looks better and it looks polished and somewhat elegant.

Bluelabel

This is a brand that probably many people out of Japan don’t know about. It is a Japan exclusive brand that was under Burberry. I love this brand so much recently because it is very up my alley. First of all it is casual enough but the style looks so good. Because of its luxury background they know how to make the clothes look beautiful and there is so much attention to stitching and every detail. I own jeans from this brand and it truly makes your legs look better than they really are. The silhouette looks so good and their style is feminine and elegant which is completely what I want, The good thing about here is that it doesn’t look too elegant to the point that you can’t wear it out to university and casual outings

ZARA

This is a brand that probably everyones knows about. I wouldn’t say that everything is good in ZARA you need to go often or check their website often to find what you really want. I often buy trend pieces at ZARA because you can buy them at a reasonable price. For me trend pieces that are probably only going to last one season are not worth investing on. If I like the trend I might invest on it. ZARA actually has elegant things and things that make your silhouette look better if you are willing to find it. I often go in ZARA and look for myself or look on social media to find that  the things that look really good and are up my style.

Laisse Passe

This is a Japanese brand that I love and will always check when I am going out shopping. It has what I want which is girly feminine but not too much with the hint of casual. For me this is the border line of girly that I can wear out of Japan to university and casual outings. Even though I love the girly style of Japan it is sometimes too much for me when I want to meet my friends from university or just attend class.

DHOLIC and Chuu

These are Korean brands that are mainly internet based. I like the feminine, casual, and elegant style of Korea and I love that I can get it on these two websites. They are slightly different from the actual clothes you will find in the Korean streets. I feel like the clothes are slightly changed to fit the Japanese style and likes better. Even though the quality can be sometimes a little bit bad, I feel like for these two websites there are not that much of these issues. I also love that it is not too expensive as well. I love to buy jeans because I feel like it makes your legs look slimmer and better.

Chanel

I feel like clothes from Chanel is something that a lot of people dream of. That is the same for me. I feel like they really know how to make clothes fit that person the best and make them look better. The stitchiing and the silhouette is something you can’t beat and this is true for a lot of luxury brands. I also like how Chanel has a little bit of playfulness to its designs and it is something very special. For me I loved the 2019 S/S collection so much and the 2016 Cruise collection as well. Also I love everything tweed mostly because of how classical it looks and elegant it looks. I would love to own a tweed jacket and bag from Chanel. I feel like these things makes me work harder so I have an album on my phone which is just pictures of my Wishlist products from various luxury products. Always in that album will be tweed things from Chanel.

Dior

As I have said in past blog posts I love Dior. Dior is my most favourite luxury fashion brand out there ever since I discovered the brand when I was 7 years old. I remember to this day when I first discovered this brand when I was shopping with my mom and my aunt and I was passing by one of their stores in Ginza, Tokyo. I fell in love with their display that they had and when I went back home, I searched up the brand and loved everything they made. By the way that was 2005 S/S collection. (FYI, I prefer S/S collection the most from all luxury brands, probably because I like spring fashion the best because of the uplifting colours and light style.) I also love the pink that they come out with (the baby pink in their Lady Dior Bag) because my favourite colour is that shade of pink. As I said for Chanel, I also love their details, stitching, and the silhouette.

This is a roundup of all my favourite fashion brands currently. I don’t think the two luxury brands are going to change any time soon but the other 4 are bound to change since I’m still on the lookout for new fashion brands that amaze me and up my preference. I hope you enjoyed reading this blog post and now I’m curious what your favourite fashion brand is and what your style preference is too. Leave them in the comments down below and I’ll be sure to respond. If you want to see my daily outfits please head onto my instagram (@lisa__heidi) since I will sometimes post my outfits on there as well. I also will share where I go shopping and what I bought on my stories as well so keep a look out for that as well. Hope you have a wonderful week and I’ll see you next week with a new blog post.

Fashion Basics

This post is going to be all about what I’m careful about when I’m picking out my outfit everyday. These are a combine of the things that have been taught to me buy my mom or I have realized over the last couple of years. It has been about 2 years since being careful about these things but I’ve got more compliments on my outfit compared to before.

First, let’s talk about my style. For going to university, I love to be comfortable and casual. But, if I’m going out I like to look clean and feminine. However, above anything I try to look sophisticated, expensive and put together. I like this kind of outfit because of my mom but this is the kind of style I genuinely like whenever I’m out or looking on Pinterest. Even if I sometimes go to university in yoga pants and sweats, I try to look put together. I’m going to share my kind of basics for clothes.

  1. Keep your style to one

I think you should keep your style to one if you’re above 20. Of course there can be a private and a school/work style, but your private should be kept to one. First if you keep it to one you can buy more good quality things. Also, there is a risk of you not getting any right when you have two or more style. If you’re super rich you might not have this problem but there is no way that you can maintain your budget and have two perfect put together styles. If you want to be put together and considered fashionable you should make your style to one.

  1. Have good quality for your basic things

My basic pieces might not be your basic things but there are some pieces I feel like everyone should have. They are white (or pink or pale blue something that is going to suit your skin tone) shirt, jeans (preferably a dark colour), knits (white or black or beige or grey), a basic skirt that will go with most tops, occasion dress (little black dress), and a coat. Shirts are a vey good piece when you want to seem sophisticated or don’t know how to dress for specific occasions. You can go very casual or very classic with just one shirt. Jeans are something that will go with any style, so find something that will suit your style and feel flattering on you body. Also, a knit is something that you can never mistake in the autumn to winter season. If it was me, I would buy a cashmere or something a little bit expensive because of that. If you are not a skirt person, this one is something that you can skip but if you are, you should have about 2 basic skirts that will go with any of your tops. The occasion dress is something that you can wear to a special dinner that looks sophisticated and expensive. You should not be startled when you have these scenes. However, you should wear something that you can also wear at your special outings because this would be more cost affective. I don’t think I need to give any reasons for the coat, but this is probably the only thing that will catching people’s eyes in the winter.

  1. Discuss with yourself before taking in trend pieces

Trends are only the popular pieces for that year or season. It is your freedom if you would like to take it in to your wardrobe. If it doesn’t suit your style, don’t put yourself in hard situations of trying to fitting it in. Discuss with yourself before deciding if your would like to take the trend pieces in your wardrobe and if you are going to take it in also discuss the price too. Trends are just pieces decided to be the popular pieces by the fashion industry. There is a very high possibility of everyone knowing that the piece is from that year’s trend pieces because it is only for one year. However, remember that fashion is free so don’t get into it too much and wear what you want to when you want to.

  1. Make about three coordinates that you love

The mornings always run out of time, this is something that I think every women (and men) can relate to. For those times you should just make some simple and cute outfits prior to that. Then, you don’t need the time you are pulling all of the clothes from your closet and trying to put out an outfit. You should make one sophisticated, casual, and cute (date) coordinates so you can use them at any occasion. Also, when you are shopping you can think of those outfits and think if your new item will fit into those outfits and style.

  1. You should know what colour and silhouette suit you

What colour and silhouette you like can be noticed quite easily. However, this has nothing to do with if they suit and look good on you. I am not saying to not wear those things. (Remember fashion is freedom.) However, you should know what colour and silhouette suits you. I had some times that my friends would tell me you look put together or something suits me and I was wearing something that I didn’t feel the best in. It is the most important to know these things when you want to look flattering or when choosing your best dress. There are sometimes you don’t know what suits you the best. In those times, go to a friend or your parents to seek advice from them. Also, it is very important to look at yourself in the mirror. When looking at yourself in the mirror keep your thoughts flat, and think that you’re not looking at somebody else.

  1. Think about the “price per wear” when you buy an item

There is only one thing that I am careful when I buy a new item. It is “price per wear”. Price per wear is bonding how many times you will wear it and the price of that item. The more you wear that item the price will go down for every time. This is why I tell you about the 2nd point, because I tend to not hesitate to buy expensive items if they are basic items, that I feel like I would wear so many times. In the opposite side, I would not wear expensive things with something I want to adventure into or any standout silhouettes or designs. However in the end, it is if you are happy and feel satisfied with your shopping experience, so you should ask yourself questions when you are shopping.

This is the end of my basics of my outfits. Sorry that it turned out into a very long post. But if your made it up to this point thank you very much. After I became careful about these points I have had more compliments about my outfit and style in general so everyone steal my techniques and also become fashionable too. However don’t forget that you are the one deciding if you’re fashionable, you are satisfied with your style, and other people’s evaluation is not everything. Fashion is a way to express yourself so don’t remember the freedom in it!
