Hair Care Routine

This week I would like to tell you about my hair care routine. I breached my hair once three years ago and since then I have taken a lot of time and money on hair care. I damaged my hair a lot with one breaching and with the help of my hairdresser, I am trying to bring my hair back to the beautiful state it once was. First, I have a lot of hair but my hair is very thin. My hair is quite long and the damage gets worse as we go down. I go to the hairdresser once every month and a half and get my hair dyed every time.

1.Brushing before Shampoo

I think brushing your hair thoroughly before going into the shower is crucial. If your hair is tangled it will get damaged and it will get more damaged when it gets wet. Even my hairdresser told me to brush my hair a couple of times before going into the shower and I have been doing it every time since. It is better if you have a tangle teezer or something similar but I don’t have one, so I use a regular brush and that is fine as well.

2.Shampoo & Treatment & Conditioner

From here on is what I do in the shower. I shampoo twice every time. The first time is very fast and I rinse it off, right after it starts to bubble. The second time I take about three minutes to make sure I wash my scalp well. I try to use shampoo and conditioner from the same series, I am currently using “Mixim Suppli”. I was using the miracle series from “Pantene” for a long time, but I have decided to go on a journey to look for the best. Then I use the “mise en scéne” treatment, I choose a treatment that says it’s for damaged hair and I try not to use the same one continuously. My hairdresser told me that your hair gets used to the component of the treatment and the treatment will not work as it is supposed to. I try not to put the treatment on my scalp but put it on everywhere else. Then I go ahead and use water treatment to the end of my hair. I’m currently using one from “Kundal” but I used “Moremo” for a long time before that. After I finish putting on my treatment, I use a spring hair tie and put my hair up in a bun. I let the treatment sink in while I wash my body then rinse it off. Lastly, I put conditioner on my hair avoiding the scalp again, and rinse it all off. This is the end of my hair care inside the shower.

3.Hair Milk & Hair Oil

Now from here on we are going on into out bath hair care routine. Before I dry my hair I put on hair milk and hair oil. I have been repeatedly buying hair milk from “SHIMA” and I love it because it is not heavy but it still moisturizes my hair very well. Then, I put on hair oil on the end of my hair only because it suffers from severe damage. I just started this recently and I’m using hair oil from “&Honey” since it deeply moisturizes my hair.

4.Dry my Hair & Hair Oil

Finally, I start drying my hair. I start by drying my hair to about 80% using my hands. After it is 80% dry, I put on hair oil from “SHIMA” since it is not so heavy and I can put it on throughout my hair. Then I spray a hair mist from “ERUCALA”, which uses the heat from the hairdryer to make my hair smooth.

5.Dry my Hair & Finish

Finally, we are getting to the end. I normally take a shower at night so I use a brush and curl my hair inwards. When my hair is 100% dry, I spray “SALA” hair water to my hair thoroughly and brush it once. Then I blow cold air onto my hair to get the natural shine of my hair. This is an important step to get your cuticles back at the right place and silky smooth. Then I put the “SHIMA” hair oil to my entire hair and “&Honey” hair oil on the tip of my hair to tame my hair. This is the end of my hair care routine.

Thank you so much for reading this extremely long blog all about my hair care routine. I am astonished by how many things I put on or do to my hair after writing this. Although it is quite the job and I feel like being a girl is sometimes very time-taking, it is these times that make me feel so much joy of being born as a girl. Let’s not make this longer than it needs to be so this is the end. If you have any recommendations for shampoo, conditioners, or treatments please let me know. If I have anything that I would like to recommend to you, I am going to post it on Instagram or Twitter so please come and have a look.
